When blocking bets get raised - 2/4 6max
MP plays a LAGgy style (41/21/2 - ~100 hands)
He might be a winning player. He is capable of sophisticated bluffs, though not a habitual bluffer. While I write this, I realize, how much my seat selection sucks. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter Hero ($382) MP ($486.12) CO ($506) Button ($734.01) SB ($844.61) BB ($906.90) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2. <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $16</font>, MP calls $16, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>. Flop: ($38) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $36</font>, MP calls $36. Re: When blocking bets get raised - 2/4 6max
yes fold but against a LAG i think check-calling the river is better (they cant resist betting after being checked to twice on turn/river ... i know i cant, especially against a weak player)

Re: When blocking bets get raised - 2/4 6max
This is such an ugly looking raise that it begs for me to call. Which means an easy fold. Check river, call pot-sized bet and he turns over a 4.

River is c/c.
What was your turn plan? |
