A college tournament hand
The tournament is a free tournament sponsered by my school. The top 3 or 4 get a free weekend trip to UNC Wilmington to play in a poker tournament there. Also the top 3 get bracelets. We are now down to 5, so no one is playing like it is a free tournament anymore.
UTG:~300000 CO:~100000 Button:~200000 Hero:~200000 BB:~150000 3000-6000 blinds UTG limps, CO folds, Button limps, Hero bets T21000 with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], BB folds, UTG calls, Button folds Flop:T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG checks out of turn, Hero checks Turn:4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, UTG bets T12000, Hero ??? UTG been TAG and been raising preflop more than limping. My table image has been very TAG, and more towards the tight side than him. Though I am usually LAG, he has not seen me bluff once. Even though the free trip would be nice, I want the gold bracelet for first even more. |

Re: A college tournament hand
I fold. I would also be more inclined to call down with A high oop if there was no 3 flush up.
Also, its a bet, not a raise. Get your poker terminology down |

Re: A college tournament hand
Alright, there I changed it. Everytime I throw chips into the pot I say raise. I know its wrong, but its habit.
