fwiw, after i smooth called the flop i really don't think rob considered he was behind in the hand. when the 8 paired it changed things but i think trip 8's is the only thing he gives me credit for that can be winning and even still it's tough to put me on an 8. so i don't think his c/r is a bluff, but it's defintiely something no where close to the nuts. his c/r on the turn is why i definitely should have value bet the river... plus i think he block/value bets higher flushes on the river as well.

[/ QUOTE ] exactly what vanessa said. Dov, my checkraise was a valuec/r, because I did think I could get value out of weaker hands and best protect my hand. And if I was behind, as said, I had outs. If she 3bet me here I'd fold, if I had AAh or KKh it's a much tougher decision and she lost value vs those hands. And I wouldn't fold them but I'd call thinking I was drawing to an 8/sethand/flush, and not feel great. |
