Default Best Play in WS Game 4 tonight....

A little nervous about the sides in this game, but I think the best play here is the Under 8.5 at -115. With all three of the games going over i feel like the line has shifted to the over, and a under is really do tonight. With freddy garcia on the mound going for the sweep, i think he shuts the astros down to less then 3 runs, anyone agree?

A lot of people thought that an under was "do" last night also with Garland and Oswalt pitching. Yea, the line has moved higher than it has been but ssaying that an unde is do is like saying that black is do because there were 7 straight red numbers.

I too like this bet a great deal. As a frequenter of the casino i can appreciate the roulette analogy but this is hardly a game of roulette. Throughout the season a pattern arose of two teams scoring 15+ runs one night,...and the next night's game would often end somewhere around 2-1. I am placing 3 units on the under in the first 5 innings and 2 units on the under in the game. Both these bets seem good to me but i would love to hear other opnions.

I definitely like the OVER in this game. After dealing with Oswalt last night, the Sox will feel like Backe's throwing a beach ball at them at 40 mph. Sox win this one going away and get over the 8.5 all by themselves. It looks like the bettors have pounded the under in this game.

The O/U looks like a coin flip at best. I'd actually lean towards the over. Not much of an overlay.

Oswalt was throwing a beach ball last night. Mixed in an inordinate amount of curves and breaking pitches knowing he didn't have enough on the fastball. Garcia capable of keeping stros down and Backe will turn in a good performance trying to keep them in it. With both bullpens being used last night the question is can they turn in a good performance or will 3-4 runs be scored late off them.

I definitely see no value on any side tonight and don't feel like gambling on the o/u. Looks like I'll just be a fan tonight.

As I told my son when he couldn't believe I was on CWS ML last night. Rule #1 - It's about value. This AM I told him Rule #2. If there's no value there's no bet.

Rule #3 - Don't seek action for the sake of action.
Tice rule - take the other side

The best play in this game was Uribe fishing a pop foul out of the 3rd row of the left side stands with 1 out and 1 on in the bottom of the ninth.

(just for the record how could any true 'stros fan not go for that ball!??.. wheres a bart-man when you need him )

fun season of mlb
