A guy liking Pussycat Dolls for their music
I think a couple of the girls in this group are pretty cute but I just downloaded "Stickwitu" last night after watching their video and I can honestly say that I'm feeling this song. It's dope.
What do you think of this? |

Re: A guy liking Pussycat Dolls for their music
I've seen them on t.v. and one of their songs was okay, but I can't remember it, and the other ones were even less memorable. It seemed like their music was more about kicking their legs out and moving their butts around on the key phrases, not really something to listen to.

Re: A guy liking Pussycat Dolls for their music
You're probably thinking of "Don't Cha" w/ Busta Rhymes. That song was okay and it was more of a club/party song. The one I mentioned seems a lot more "real" and the lyrics speak about how a girl sticks with a guy forever.
I don't know, maybe I'm just in one of those bitch ass moods and really enjoy listening to it right now. |

the lyrics
I don't want to go another day
So I'm telling you exactly what is on my mind Seems like everybody is breaking up Throwing their love away I know I got a good thing right here That's why I say (Hey) Nobody's going to love me better I'm going to stick with you Forever Nobody's going to take me higher I'm going to stick with you You know how to appreciate me I'm going to stick with you My baby Nobody ever made me feel this way I'm going to stick with you I don't want to go another So I'm telling you exactly what is on my mind See the way we ride In our privated lives Ain't nobody getting in between I want you to know that you're the only one for me And I say Nobody's going to love me better I'm going to stick with you Forever Nobody's going to take me higher I'm going to stick with you You know how to appreciate me I'm going to stick with you My baby Nobody ever made me feel this way I'm going to stick with you And now Ain't nothing else I can need And now I'm singing 'cause you're so, so into me I got you We'll be making love endlessly I'm with you Baby, you're with me So don't you worry about People hanging around They ain't bringing us down I know you and you know me And that's all that counts So don't you worry about People hanging around They ain't bringing us down I know you and you know me And that's why I say Nobody's going to love me better I'm going to stick with you Forever Nobody's going to take me higher I'm going to stick with you You know how to appreciate me I'm going to stick with you My baby Nobody ever made me feel this way I'm going to stick with you Nobody's going to love me better I'm going to stick with you Forever Nobody's going to take me higher I'm going to stick with you You know how to appreciate me I'm going to stick with you My baby Nobody ever made me feel this way I'm going to stick with you |

Re: the lyrics
Talk about repetitive!
Maybe it's better in the listening than in the reading. |

[ QUOTE ]
Talk about repetitive! Maybe it's better in the listening than in the reading. [/ QUOTE ] As in most cases. I don't know. I think it's the combination of the beat/lyrics that got me hooked. I admit, it's very "popular", but I enjoy it for some odd reason. I think it's because I want a girl like this in my life... |

Re: the lyrics
I felt that way about "Let's Hear It For the Boy" when it came out. It was one of the few female sung songs that was generous toward men. Lots of times it seems like the male songs are about being crazy for the women, and the female songs are about guys all being cheaters, dirtbags who done 'em wrong and made them long-suffering, etc. It was a pleasure to hear a positive song from women that didn't sound like endless whining about men and feeling sorry for your poor, poor self.
Sometimes it seems like life has a ton of bitching and whining in it, as if a little bit of gratitude would kill us or something. |
