Defending with AK just outside final table
Should I even be asking this?
Pacific 10K Guaranteed. 15 players left. Blinds 1,500/3,000 Hero is bb with AKo. My stack is 11,000 (after paying the blind). Folded up to button (45,000) who raises to 9,000. SB folds. I have no special read on button. Easiest push ever? |

The only way you fold this is if you misclick in the midst of your excitement.

Re: Defending with AK just outside final table
Thanks.
Given the range of possible hands he was raising with I'm the huge favourite, obviously. The reason for me asking is that I thought I might consider the payout structure (being just outside the final table) when making this decision; should I take my 70-75% edge (and risk ending the tourney) or should I give up my edge and go into the final table even more short stacked? I think the decision was easy, but I just wanted to check with you guys if there was some payout structure/final table bubble thing that I should have considered. |
