Re: Looking for a little sweat (NC)
Sorry, JerZHoya. After I made this post, I made a couple of blind steals that went bad, lost a race and now I'm out. Just ignore me.

that doesnt look like a good sign.
hoping you just dont want the sweat, and there wasn't a collapse. |

Yeah, pretty much a collapse. Basically came down to 4 hands. Blinds 1000/2000, folded to me in the CO, I raise Ax to 8000, BB raises to 25000, I fold. Happened twice. After that, I wound up with AJs in the BB, MP short stack with ~12000 pushes, I call, he showed 99 and I lost the race. Finally, I've got about 32000, I'm in the SB with A5s. Aggro player who hates me for some reason makes it 6000 from the CO. I pushed, he showed AJ.
I really need to work on my MTT play. |

those steal raises are huge... at that point in the tournament no need for 4xBB... it's a lot healthier for your stack when you lose 2.5xBB at a time.

[/ QUOTE ] I had been using 3xBB at this table, but had consistently been getting called by the BB with basically any 2 cards, so I increased the raise amount. |
