I don't think so, I welcome the opportunity to get feedback directly from them. Here's my question:

10 players in on a hand, rake taken by site is .10, does a rakeback deal player get a percentage of the .01 he put in or was the raked amount too small? Forgive if this is too basic a question but I'm new to the whole rakeback thing.

Edit: I am not rake reduction:

The penny gets added to the player's MGR. At the end of the month, the player gets a percentage of that MGR back (his rakeback percentage). So yes, in effect, he does get a percentage of that penny back.

I'm glad to hear that and I want to believe it, so maybe I misunderstood BattlePoker site when it indicates players receive rake back on "raked hands" and that those are hands that have a minimum of .25 taken from the pot, which btw, won't happen very much w/ me cause i'm at lower limits where the amount taken out is usu. around .05-.15, and only occassionally goes to .25

Oh, the answer I gave was for the majority of the major sites like Party and Skins. I have no idea how Battle Poker calculates MGR, and based on how you described it, it sounds like a 10 cent drop might not qualify for rakeback.

Each site is a little different:

At Prima it works on how much you put into the pot.. So lets say you are getting 40% rakeback.

Theres 10 players.. The pot is 40$ you put in 20$ of that pot (So 50% of the pot) and the rake is 2$.. Since you put in 50% of the pot, you get 'credited' for 50% of the rake or 1$ of that 1$, 40 cents would come back to you in rakeback.

Hope that makes sense

u also affiliate for Empire, isn't that doiing it different, based on simply being dealt cards in the hand?

Also, at Battle, what is the minimum amount of rake by the site need to be on a given hand in order to give some rakeback to the player?

Empire everyone who gets dealt cards, gets an equal share of the rake, no matter if you folded preflop.
