Re: PS 45k
My first tourney with my login. I believe I'll be easier for 2+2 folks to recognize, now. (AtticusFynch).
So far so good. I'm chip leader with 22k on table 131. |

Re: PS 45k
it's always nice having 20k after the break, but you dont need to set a goal, even 5k is fine

whats a good goal of chips to have by first break to have a reasonable stack to work with after rebuy ends? im new to these rebuys [/ QUOTE ] Well the more the better, of course, but 10k is a good point to shoot for. The average stack at the first break is most often in the neighborhood of 8500. Once you get to about 10k, you can ease off the aggression a bit and protect your lead, if you want. Others keep at it and try to build mammoth stacks. If you don't mind rebuying a million times, this can also be a fine approach. Better players than I have said just have fun during the rebuy period. Try some wacky stuff, experiment with ways to build big pots. Just be sure always to rebuy at every opportunity. By the way, this advice only applies to rebuys where most players are super loose -- typical of PS. I've been on other sites where people are tight as ever during the rebuy period. Those require a little more delicacy. |
