This whole "rating out of 10" thing needs to stop. Nobody wants to read posts like the one above, much less read them over and over.

Either establish a more concrete scale for OOT - something like a 1 is in the bottom 10% of the population, or something more qualitative like "has only one redeeming feature" (ala Tucker Max) - or slip back to something more binary, such as "I'd hit it."

Key in all of this, however, is that posts like the one above just plain suck. They do nothing to improve discussion or make a significant contribution. They simply provoke another idiot to retort with, "No way! Definitely a 7!" and then other idiots chime in with their numbers, and nothing constructive ever happens. Elaboration on why she received the rating she did is critical, and keeps threads like this from degenerating into a bunch of no-content posts. Respond, "I'd hit it, because..."

If I can take 5-10 minutes to explain why I think the above post sucks, and offer suggestions for improving threads like this in the future, surely the rest of you can take 2-3 minutes and implement at least the elaboration part of my suggestions.

I agree. Many women have attractive attributes without having conventional 'beauty' - might be the eyes, might be the curve of the face, might be the walk, might be the smile. Some women look quite plain at first, and then each time you see them again, they get more and more beautiful. Rating em is a boy's game.

Not bad. Pic makes her face look bad but she's pretty fit and the ta-tas are very nice. I bet she's one of those chicks that has great days and lousy days. I dated a chick like that once. Half the time I couldn't keep my hands off her, the rest of the time she was pretty much locked in the basement.
