Re: AQ river decision

[ QUOTE ] Fold that river. Any reads on your opponents? If UTG is especially tight and passive, I would be tempted to fold on the flop. But anything other than a cap here is usually pretty silly. [/ QUOTE ] UTG is 42/3/1.5 over 131 hands BB is 41/5.8/.67 over 69 hands [/ QUOTE ] honestly, why wouldn't you put these in the original post? |

Re: AQ river decision
i would note bb: "idiot - no turn raise with 99 on AA9T"
utg played his hand well minus the preflop limp. i would note him as respectful of preflop raises and remind myself to be cautious against river aggression from him. with purely stat reads given, i would be scared of bb holding AJ on this river - his aggression factor (after few hands, admittedly) looks low enough that he would not raise AJ on the turn. when he wakes up on the river and utg makes it 3, i think you can't win often enough. against unknowns, my previous line stands. |

Re: AQ river decision
Call the river. You'll win it more than 1 in 10 times, which is all you need.
