Single table satellite end game hand...
4 players left. 3000 chips in play, blinds are 50/100. First place gets everything, although two-way chops are fairly standard.
You are in the SB with 1100. BB is very tight and unimaginative. He has about 250. UTG has 450 is a TAG you know well. You respect his game and he is the one person at the table you think is at your level. UTG+1 is a moron, who has 1200 in chips, garnered by calling re-raises with A7o and hitting. He loves to come over the top when anyone raises to him, but has folded to three all-ins by UTG. On this hand, UTG makes an unusual raise to 225, half his stack and 1.25xBB. UTG+1 immediately puts out half his chips, raising to 600 (he WILL call any re-raise). You look down at AKo... |

Re: Single table satellite end game hand...
UTG probably has a PP 10s +
chances are UTG + 1 has Ax or Kx meaning you're worse than a coinflip here ... there has to be a better spot to get your money in UTG obviously has the same read on UTG+1 and wants action from him, which is why he made the unusual raise i think fold and living with the results is a good idea |

Re: Single table satellite end game hand...
interesting hand
I'de put UTG on a very tight range, possibly even QQ+, which you're 30.9% against. However, you can come out ahead by winning the sidepot against the donk, who i'de put on 22+,A2+,KTs,KJo+ which makes you 62.9% against him. Against UTG you make: .309*550=169.95 for a win and loose .691*350= 241.85 for a net loss of 72 chips. 800 to be won from the sidepot, so if you win 62.9% of the time you come out ahead 206.4 chips. 206.4-72= 134 total chips gained. Obviously, these calculations are incomplete and done quickly, but it can give you an estimate. possible problems besides the math: -I really don't know what hand range to put UTG on. There's a decent chance that he has a hand other than QQ+ and is doing something weird. -UTG+1 could have a wider range This is probably a call |

Hands & results
Milo is UTG with AQo, and hoping for an over the top raise by UTG+1 with nothing.
UTG+1 has K7o, and obliges. SB folds his AKo. Milo calls. SB is not happy when he sees hands. Board is raggy, and nobody improves. SB complains more. |

Re: Hands & results
Easy push. Weak-tight if you fold this.
