Is profitability graph bimodal at 6 max for some hands??
I have certain hands on the button that I will openraise with if no one has entered the pot, and limp with if 3 others are in, but will fold if its one limp to me.. is this proper strategy??
Hands like J8s... I figured stealing the blinds make it profitable enough to steal, and implieds give it enough with position to limp behind, but only playing a 3 way pot or so doesnt yield enough odds to warrant playing it. Does anyone else think this or am I insane? |

Re: Is profitability graph bimodal at 6 max for some hands??
the 6max chart from a 2+2 poster (link not to hand) shows to fold some hands after limpers but to open with them. it makes perfect sense and i think you're right on the explanation.
hands like KTo on the button is the easiest openraise ever, but if a limper is in it's the easiest fold ever (assuming the limper isn't 100/0/0). |
