Re: overplaying against a LAG?
His numbers aren't that lag.
4 is high, sure, and because of it I don't have a huge problem going this many bets. BUT, once he caps the flop, you have to put him on either 2 pair or AA or KK. I'd prob go 3 on the turn as well, but you def got carried away on the river. |

Maybe his WtSD would be useful here to see if the high aggression is more betting or more folding based. I'd put his range on the flop at 2-pair, 55, JT, or AK, with AA and KK being possible, but unlikely. He not only didn't raise pre-flop, but he also didn't limp re-raise. I'm starting to worry about that bigger set when he caps the turn-- not before. I think I'd check/call the river: After the turn cap he could have 55 (3 combos), KK (3), KQ(3), AA (3), AK (9), or, JT (16). We're ahead of 15 and behind 22. |

Re: overplaying against a LAG?
An aggr. # of 4 is pretty high even moreso with 35 vpip. m I'd bet/call the river hoping to see AQ or AK.

Re: overplaying against a LAG?
Looks perfect until the river.
Once he caps the turn, I'd be getting slightly worried, even with your read. I think a bet/call is in order here. Your hand is definitely worth another 2 bets, but maybe not 4. JT looks somewhat likely. |

Re: overplaying against a LAG?
It's hard to tell. I can't really see myself going 4 bets on the river with the 4th nuts, even against this opponent. But it also appears that it was the flop that made her hand. If she can raise the river given the action on all previous streets, I would be satisfied with just calling.

[/ QUOTE ] Depends what you mean by "overplays his hand". Can't give an opinion until you elaborate on that. What I mean is have seen him cap every street with one pair, two pair types of hands, or does he slow down without a huge hand. I would not put this many bets in against the biggest maniacs. |
