I'm starting to believe Dell's CS is right up there with Party Poker. Nothing like letting somebody order something and taking it away(without even so much as an email) a few days later. And the bastards have not even re-credited my credit card.

I ordered the exact same thing about a month ago. It broke after 2 weeks, and then I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to fix it (2 hours of which was on hold), and then they sent me a replacement computer. Hopefully this one doesn't break too.

gila i got the same TWICE now
not to mention the laptop i ordered that they specifically said would support 2 monitors + laptop screen, which CANNOT i told them they need to pay for return shipping and offered proof through online chat convos -- they claimed they couldn't verify the things, that i didn't do my research, that i never called in to check, etc. -- VERY upsetting and even though they finally did agree to pay shipping i'm going to write them a lengthy letter |

Dell's customer service is without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever dealt with from any company, Party Poker included. And this is not concerning 1 order - I have had ridiculous problems with them time and again, and absolutely hate dealing with them in any manner. |

I think their CS might be what some clueless people need. They train their CS reps to go to the Dell web page and read the contents over the phone. |

Yes the service is bad when you compare it to some small mom and pop place where you know the owners..but when you compare the service of other large companies I think it's pretty good.

This same thing happened to me. the 9100 w/2001FP. They said it got cancelled because the price was quoted to low.
I called sales and bitched a little, they straightened things up and it is shipping for the same price. |

my dvd burner stopped working... 1 email and they sent me a replacement that arrived at my door 48 hours later... not bad.
