Preflop is bad.... but it's still only about 5% of your stack against a pair of morons.
Flop looks good-- no fold equity in a semi-bluff on this one. Your stack needs to be in on the turn. Slowplay here is horrible, unless you think the guy behind you raises most of the time. River...... crying call. |

I would usually open-raise pre-flop, but limp-calling isn't bad. Flop I would usually raise against people who like to fold and call against people who like to call. Turn I would raise no matter who was in the hand. What the [censored] were you thinking when you did not raise the turn. That was retarded. River is read-dependent but I think you're getting too good of a price to fold.

Right, and if you already think you're beat, calling just makes you.. lose less?

Pre-flop you can raise or limp, either one is fine. There's absolutely no way I'm folding pre-flop to such a small raise, though, 'pecially closing the action and in perfect position post-flop.
Raise the turn to at least 2/3-Pot. If the SB comes back over the top, I guess you're just gonna have to lose your money against a bad player. The hazard of playing smallish suited cards. The way it played out, you're gettin 8.5:1 on a call on the river, so you can't fold. If it was like 2:1, then a fold here would be more palatable, I think. Kirk |

If you're gonna take that turn line, don't bother calling the flop.
