10/20: blind defense round 5, part 1 - 33
Villain is 75/27/1 over 36 hands. Very loose preflop, kind of loose/aggressive postflop but not maniac.

I call, itīs the perfect card to think he can move you off a crap pair and I dont think he will just check and give up ever with those stats.

With those stats, especially when he opens from the SB, I don't see how you can call the turn and fold the river with the K.

If he is willing to bet all three rounds without a pair then I wouldn't fold the river in a million years against him considering his stats.

Re: 10/20: blind defense round 5, part 1 - 33
Boy, it would be really nice if there were a stat that told you how often a player attempted to steal the blinds. That would be pretty handy, wouldn't it?
Actually, it probably doesn't matter much in this particular case. 3-bet preflop and keep going until you hit any resistance, then re-evaluate. |

Re: 10/20: blind defense round 5, part 1 - 33
raise the turn and take a free showdown, fold if 3 bet. he will probably call a turn bet with overcard(s), and likely not bet the river. we are happy if he calls or folds on the turn. if he 3-bets i think you can safely fold.
raising the turn puts you in a position to take a free showdown, which makes the decision the river easier when a big card hits. i think playing this way extracts the most value. -mike |
