***The OFFICIAL season long FF TRADE Thread***
I wonder if this can work for the season.
As long as FF 'experts' 'wanna be experts' (yeah, I just said 'wanna be') check this thread when there are new posts, we should be able to maintain this thread throughout the year. It may also grow to be one of the longest ever. General guidelines for the FF TRADE thread: Rules: 1. List general scoring. This means, pt/passing TD We know the rest generally. 2. List any very odd rules. Example: 2 starting QBs. 3. List all of your players. 4. List all of your opponents players. 3. Bold the players you would be trading 4. Make the possible players you'll get red 5. Try to give some reasoning for the trade. (It may just help you evaluate it more yourself) This way, eveyone can look easily and see, who you're giving, and who you're getting. So, if you're trading Manning and Tomlinson and want to get Matt Stover and the Bengals D we don't have to tread through all of the garbage and we can proceed to berate you. This really shouldn't be too hard, and if you can't do the work to bold and red, then you probably don't deserve the help. |

Re: ***The OFFICIAL season long FF TRADE Thread***
Bump because a) let's consolidate this [censored] b) I've been offered a trade.
Scoring weirdness: Pass TDs = 5, -2 for INT... 3 bonus points for 300/100 yards passing/rushing, 2 bonus for 10 carries, 10 completions, 5 receptions Starters are normal + one flex. My Team: QB - Steve McNair QB - Brian Griese QB - Eli Manning RB - Willis McGahee RB - Priest Holmes RB - Brian Westbrook RB - Larry Johnson RB - Cedric Benson WR - Roy Williams WR - Michael Clayton WR - Laveranues Coles WR - Jimmy Smith WR - Braylon Edwards K - Matt Stover His Team: QB - Peyton Manning QB - Donovan McNabb RB - Michael Bennett RB - Derrick Blaylock RB - Maurice Clarett RB - Kevin Faulk RB - Justin Fargas RB - Lee Suggs WR - Nate Burleson WR - Keyshawn Johnson WR - Steve Smith WR - Reggie Wayne TE - Alge Crumpler PK - Shayne Graham Okay, basically the question is "do I have enough at running back to survive the loss of McGahee?" I can start the Holmes-LJ tandem, though I'm not necessarily high on that option, and if Benson takes the realm at Chicago I might be okay. But really, even if he does, I'm skeptical of how effective he can be with Orton back there. Not to mention that if McNabb is hurt, I think that tends to hurt Westbrook's value as well. I guess I lean towards no deal, but I'd like to hear some opinions. Thanks, |

Re: ***The OFFICIAL season long FF TRADE Thread***
SoulDaddy,
This really isn't even close, IMO. You need a QB very badly and have extra RBs. You're getting the best QB in the league. I would start Priest and Westbrook though, not Priest and LJ. Accept the trade. |

Does that change your opinion even slightly? |

Re: ***The OFFICIAL season long FF TRADE Thread***
Oh, damn...I need to read more carefully. This is a lot more interesting then. I'd still do it, just because I love Peyton and the consistency he brings of never having to worry about your QB position for the whole season. I'd make the trade and start Priest, Westbrook and either LJ or Benson.
