Re: Party 100 ten handed Analysis
Trying to get all in on the flop is probably a good idea.

Re: Party 100 ten handed Analysis
He's not really giving you the odds to go for your flush draw and there's a good chance against a decent player that your overcards are no good. So the best we're hoping for here is the flush or the Queen. Your Queens may be dead, if he happens to have QQ.
I would check the river and call his bet, but I wouldn't be too happy about it. Expecting to lose to either QQ AA or KK. |

Re: Party 100 ten handed Analysis
how deep was your stack, but it probally doesn't matter. I think at best you are going to chop the pot. Why do you think he bet the pot on the flop and turn then 1/3 the pot on the flop? Most likely QQ or AA.

Re: Party 100 ten handed Analysis
when he bet 20 on the turn, it tells me that he feared the k. he may have qq, and picked up middle pair with an open-ender. raise the turn.
good call on the flop for several reasons, including the knowledge youll gain from his firing the turn, if he does. |

Re: Party 100 ten handed Analysis
You should go all-in on the flop. You're a favorite against QQ and KK and still have your fair share of equity against AA, TT, and JJ. Calling flop is bad. Calling turn is bad. I don't think calling a river bet is an option even though you have top two. There's almost no hands that he can have that you're beating. At best, you're splitting the pot.

Re: Party 100 ten handed Analysis
I'd probably bet the flop out around 2/3 the size of the pot or so. If raised, I'd certainly push.

Re: reraise preflop.
heads up out of position i reraise to 10 or 12 preflop, i give him the chance with aa or kk or reraise and find out where i am inexpensively. if he smooth calls he may still have aa, but many opponents would reraise.
i then bet out that flop, online i probably bet the pot. on the river i most likely check and call if he makes a smallish bet. if he moves all in and we both have sizable stacks, it depends on my read. i could call or easily toss it, what can you beat that he moves all in with, not much. aa, kk, jj, qq, aq, tt, all beat you. i believe those advocating all in preflop, are incorrect. if you play cash games enough you know better. in a tournament depending on how late it is, the size of the blinds, the stacks, all in with ak can often be correct. |
