I got a "D." It doesn't adjust for shorthanded play apparently, or I suck. I'm not quite sure of which.

mine looked that way, except the Green graph was on top

Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of the results. It seems to be telling me that I'm getting really unlucky (luck factor -10) but I'm winning a lot more than I should be.

Reading the FAQ will clear up many of your questions.

Basically, the program does not like you "betting light".

Also the way it figures out hand strength does not seem to compensate for "relative hand values".

So being aggressive in shorthanded pots is going to make the PG unhappy.

Yeah, I understand. I was being glib when I posted that. It's certainly not marketed or designed for SH play.

Mostly the reason I haven't added in more features to PG is that there was little interest in it.

Now there seems to be a huge interest in it, and if this keeps up I will start spending more time adding features and improvements. And the first item on that list is going to be adding support for short handed play (helped by the fact that I've since switched from a ring player to a 6max player )

So I gather from these few posts that I maybe shouldn't kill myself over my "D"? I just grabbed the last few weeks of play, which consisted of 6-max, full-ring, and 1 table SNGs (where endgame strategy is wildly different from typical full-ring play). Hmm, I guess a few moments logical thought might have indicated that would skew my results.

I did have the green line across the top saying I made way more than I was supposed to, even though my luck ratings were Bad Luck, Bad Luck, Average Luck. I'll try loading just some ring hands in tonight when I get home and see what I get.

Good to know you're actually thinking in poker terms with this, rather than mindlessly crunching numbers.

Thanks!

I dont think you should kill yourself over any automated site that tries to numerically quantify your poker play. There are just so many variables involved, its difficult to do.

And with PG, if you are dealing with SnGs or short-handed play, the report card is not going to be accurate enough for it to be that helpful.

Everything on the first page should transfer over from full-ring to shorthanded pretty well (SnG support is a little iffy at best), but the report card is based on full ring games.

Ok, I am SOO confused what the green line means.
This is my failed shot 1/2. 5K hands. Is the green line going up good? Or that that just the money I could of had if I knew how to play?

No, it means on average that is how much you would have made. So the fact that your actual profit is below that means you were getting unlucky or playing poorly. And since below you seem to have bad luck and your technical numbers look fine, im going to guess it was bad luck.

Nice rakeback though
