Re: KQo against the last defender of the blinds
Im curious boz, why not reraise flop. I think that solves prob in two ways. Only two hands that beat you on flop AA Ak. if no reraise we have a decent read and if checked to on turn can then bet or take free card, although im inclined to bet out.IF raised on turn drop and if not then im bettin river. Is my thinkin screwed up or is this a viable play

Im curious boz, why not reraise flop. [/ QUOTE ] It's a good question, and one I was asking myself as I played the hand. As I said, when I got 3-bet by the OOP Villan and then caught my king on the flop, I put myself in WA/WB mode and picked a call-call-raise line. |

Bitching and moaning
Oh, and I'm also in the midst of a run of the crappiest cards I've ever seen. For instance, I just had a hand folded to me on the button with ATo. I raise. Both blinds call. The flop came QQK. Long story short, the BB defended with K6o and wound up with kings full.

He checks, i bet he raises i cap. River brings a 9. I now have Queens full of nines. We cap. He has KQ. There goes $40, and an $80 pot. |

Re: KQo against the last defender of the blinds
Way Ahead/Way Behind. Usually defined as you have ~3 outs if Villan is ahead and Villan has ~3 outs if you're ahead. Classic example, raise AQs in MP, get 3-bet by a TAG and see a flop of Axxr.
