[ QUOTE ]
I don't think we hear enough about him. [/ QUOTE ] Fair or not, you've got to win a big tournament before people start talking a lot about you. Today, that means you've got to win a televised tournament and I don't think Juanda has ever done that. Juanda's recent 31st place finish in the WSOP gave him his third hightest prize money finish. The $274,090 he won is just barely behind the $278,240 he won for finish second in a WPT tournament and his $283,240 for finishing first in the 2nd Anuual Jack Binion World Poker Open. With players regularly winning $1,000,000 or more in WPT tournaments, a player who hasn't approached that yet is going to get limited publicity. |
