Ace Hi against an unknown
Villian is new to the table and new to me. I have been calling down in all the wrong places w/ A high lately -- is this one ok?

Re: Ace Hi against an unknown
Hm, at 2/4 I only do this with a read. Usually I give up on the turn. Is an unknown at 5/10 going to raise the flop and bet the turn/river w/ a busted draw?

Re: Ace Hi against an unknown
You can't fold the turn after picking up a gutshot. Combine that w/your over outs and I think your getting enough to call.

Re: Ace Hi against an unknown
I toss this river. Its too likely that your behind. UTG limping eliminates the bigger aces like AK, AQ, AJ, AT most of the time. If he's limping here I put him on a smallish pp (<99), suted connectors, or some sort of a smaller ace. Its far too likely that he's hit his kicker to consider calling the river here.
