Default Re: first hand post- is my turn fold weak or correct?

[ QUOTE ]
i thought he would raise with kj, but what else?

[/ QUOTE ]

KJ, 2-pair, any queen, many tens (especially JT), 2 diamonds, pocket pairs, and occasional bluffs. There are a class of opponents who plan to bluff when the PFR doesn't catch an ace or king and their hand is reasonable. Folding too often in these spots can cause you lots of problems.

This fold may be correct, but your logic ('no read, but I'm sure he has KJ') is awful.
