How NOT to play AA (not a bad beat story)
I was playing a little live 2/4 at the Seneca Niagara this morning up in Niagara Falls.
We had gone up for a wedding, and the wife and I decided to hit the casino for a bit before driving back down. IT was your regular low limit loose passive game, so I was completing any SB not raised, as well as checking all BBs - BLIND. Ads more fun to the game right? 1 hand after taking in a nice pot over $80 from the BB, I get 2 cards, and while still stacking my chips, flip the extra $1. I check the flop as soon as she puts the cards out (the whole table knows I haven't looked). 4 others check around. Turn comes - I check again, again checked around. River - Check blind, and checked around. Dealer tells me to turn up my cards. I say lets see what I got. and low and behold - 2 Red ACES!! Everyone else quickly folds. |
