Re: Odds of going 200 hands....
200 - 6.5%
500 - 0.1% 1000 - 0.0001% (a little more than 1 in a million) |

Re: Odds of going 200 hands....
200: [1 - C(3,1)*C(4,2)/C(52,2)]^200 = 6.50%
500: [1 - C(3,1)*C(4,2)/C(52,2)]^500 = .1% 1000: [1- C(3,1)*C(4,2)/C(52,2)]^1000 = .0001% |

Re: Odds of going 200 hands....
Four minutes apart, that's a cross-posting. A sees the question at 11:29, thinks for five minutes, and posts the answer at 11:34. B sees the question at 11:33 with no answer posted, thinks for five minutes, and posts at 11:38.

Re: Odds of going 200 hands....
LOL, I'm sure this was a case of:
1.) Opening the browser 2.) Seeing the question 3.) Hitting reply 4.) Getting distracted 5.) Posting an answer 6.) Moving on without returning. In fairness, at least I provided the method to my madness! |
