Just saw a guy flop quads on consecutive hands ... wow.
First hand he holds 99, flop comes 99J.
Second hand he holds A5, flop is 555. I wonder what the odds of flopping quads on consecutive hands are ... gotta be really long! I don't think I will ever see that again. ~ Tilts |

Re: Just saw a guy flop quads on consecutive hands ... wow.
Teh odds of this situation, flopping quads with a PP is 1/400. THe odds of then flopping quads with 1 in your hand and the flop the other 3 is 1/9600.
Thus the odds happening back to back are 1/400 * 1/9600 = 0.00000026041666666666666666666666666667 In other words you would need this situation to occur 3,840,000 times for this to happen once (in statistical probability terms). |

When I first started playing holdem I flopped quad A's on back to back hands on stars. Think that will happen again? LOL

Re: Just saw a guy flop quads on consecutive hands ... wow.
i did that once live. (4-handed). the first time i had a lone 3 and the second time i had a little old 2. the first one didn't make me a lot, but the second one sure did.
