I would pay 200$ if he wrote a book just dealing with the technical side of limit hold'em

if Barry had alot of experience with online NL SNGs,
i would rather buy a [hand] book from him on big buy-in SNGs $215 and higher, both on Party's small stack and Pokerstars' bigger stack setup. i love to see hand examples of how he handles certain situations and opponents like LAG-weak, TAG strong/tough, LAG-thinking and tricky, TAG decent, etc.

Re: How much would you pay for a Barry G hand problem book?
I was glad to see an author include hands that he thinks he misplayed. Especially since everyone misplays hands from time to time. I think Rueben Stewart also did in his pot-limit holdem book.

Re: How much would you pay for a Barry G hand problem book?
If this book would make me win 10 million bucks, I'd pay 10k for it, maybe even more
If the author is so rich that money doesn't matter anymore, it is also a philosophical question how much he should charge for his book. |

Re: How much would you pay for a Barry G hand problem book?
[ QUOTE ]
There was a five hand meltdown in one round of play at the 2003 WSOP that led to my elimiation on day three. (Some of you will remember that I was the chip leader on day one.) I have only mentioned these hands to close family members. And now you want to pay me to describe what I did wrong. I would almost be more inclined to pay someone so I wouldn't have to expose my incompetence! Barry [/ QUOTE ] This should be crossposted to the Psych forum . . . it's very comforting to hear that no matter how insanely good one is at the game, there are still times that one's play is so bad (relative to how one *should* be playing) that ya just want to crawl in a hole and not come out for several weeks. |
