The Price is RIght Wheel 2nd spin Strategy Chart
I'm trying to come up with strategy chart for Price is Right wheel.
Three players. You get one spin, and at your option a second spin to add to total. Winner is person closest to $1.00 without going over. Player ties are spun off with one spin (and if you hit $1.00 exactly you get $1,000 and a bonus game spin) If you total $1.00 exactly you win $1000, and get a bonus game spin. Spin again, 1 in 20 at $10,000, 2 in 20 at $5000 20 spots- 5 though 1.00. Assumptions: Winning the wheel game, is same as winning $10,000. There is no skill involved in spinning. 2nd spin strategy: (we need to fill in the brackets) "3rd player" If trailing, spin again. If leading, don't spin again (it's not allowed per rules). If tied with exactly one player, spin again if <A> or less. If tied with both other players, spin again if <B> or less. "Middle player" If trailing, spin again. If leading, spin on first spin of <C> or less. If tied with one player, spin of first spin of <D> or less "First player" Spin again on first spin of <E> or less. My rough guess <A> 50 <B> 65 <C> 60 <D> 65 <E> 70 |

Re: The Price is RIght Wheel 2nd spin Strategy Chart
Does this belong in the "Probability" forum?

Re: The Price is RIght Wheel 2nd spin Strategy Chart
i'm pretty sure you are allowed a second spin as the third player if you are leading, just, you would have to be pretty stupid to take it.

Re: The Price is RIght Wheel 2nd spin Strategy Chart
You can only not take the 2nd spin as the 3rd player if both preceeding players have gone over $1.00
