Was there a week ago. Checked once at Mirage, Bellagio, Wynn, MGM, and Alladin and didn't find a single stud game going in Vegas.

Mid Limit stud has gone at Bellagio every time I've been there (usually 20-40 and/or 40-80). Bellagio also typically (I believe, never played) spreads a 1-5 stud game.

Until the final event actually started, the Rio would have been the place to play stud.
Still surprised you didn't find anything at Bellagio though. |

I played 15-30 stud at the Mirage tonight. I also played it on Saturday night (it had some hard drinking, loose Muppets in the game on Saturday).
I mostly play hold'em. Whenever I'm in the Mirage (about 2 or 3 times a week), I almost always seem to hear them call seats for the 15-30 stud. So I think it goes most days. They (Mirage) always have a 1-5 stud on the front table whenever I walk in the place. If you are going to drink and play 1-5 stud, I would give the Excalibur a look. Now, the places that have stud, may or may not have them going at 8:00 in the morning mind you, but they should have them going by swing shift. Of course, as others have said, the Bellagio has much stud to choose from. Best of Luck Howard |

I've enjoyed this games for years, try to drop in on
every vacation. The small ante and kill feature make for a good game, at least for tight players like me. Never see tourists there tho, mainly loose playing locals. Years ago the game went more often. Do you know if it's still Fridays only? thx |

[ QUOTE ]
I can never figure that out. A dinky town like AC can have 75/150 games going, but Vegas has nada, unless you play big mixed games. [/ QUOTE ] Bingo. Stud is its most popular on the American East Coast. You're do better to go to AC or Foxwoods. |

Every time I've been in recent months, both the Mirage and the Excal regularly spread a 1-5 game. Neither has an ante, so the play is very tight (unless you happen upon a lucky table). But it's there.
