Raymer/Flack. Hopefully Farha and Ivey too. Can you imagine the style of play? Super aggression! Would be great to watch.

better question:
Will Ivey smile if he wins? but i like raymer's chances with a big stack. he played it really well last year (knocked out one of my buddies in the final 3 tables) |

Well, Varkonyi went out on Day One of 2003 and Moneymaker did the same in 2004. I have no idea what Juan Carlos Mortenson did in 2002 but he missed the money for sure. Pretty impressive to be ninth out of 569.

Greg Raymer will be out in 14th place, that is my prediction.

Cardplayer just put up another list of recent bustouts and I see very few if any big names on the list. It's already down to 430 or so and looking like it's going to be a great finish. |

I'll go with Lederer at this point. Hard to argue with the big chip stacks, but I think the professor has enough chips to make a run this year. [/ QUOTE ] Lederer hanging on by his toenails! [ QUOTE ] Date / Time: 2005-07-11 17:33:00 Title: Lederer Doubles Up Log: With the board showing Ad-9h-8s-7d, Howard Lederer moves all-in for his last $26,000, and is called by a player who shows Q-Q. Lederer shows Kd-7d for a flush draw, a straight draw, and one overcard. The river is the Kh, and is good enough to double up Lederer to nearly $110,000.
