You guys fold faster than a........
What should I say at a tight table that folds to everything. Like sometimes I rasie and the fold button is prechecked so the table folds in like 3 seconds. What should I say to loosen up the table or to alteast create some talk.
P.S. Do not say find a new table, that is not what I am asking. |

Re: You guys fold faster than a........
Not much you can do really.
You will have to spend some money to loosen it up. You may steal some blinds in the process, but it could be more trouble than it's worth. I know you don't want to hear this, but the answer really is to find a new table. |

Raise with utter crap a few times and then when everyone folds show your hand. Do that a couple of times and you will be sure to get callers.

Re: You guys fold faster than a........
I don't understand the problem really. If your table is that tight, and it's passive, you are not in that bad of a situation really. Don't go crazy stealing every single pot but you should be stealing a lot and you should be profiting from that nicely. If they begin to adjust then you can adjust and tone it down (if you feel like it).
I know it's uncomfortable to play at these tables but you can make money... you just have to be willing to raise J8o and other such fine hands. And then you need to be willing to play them post-flop. If you are uncomfortable doing this then you should probably find another table (if possible). |

Re: You guys fold faster than a........
online you shouldn't need to worry about loosening up a tight table. There are thousands of other tables, get a better one. In a live game it would have a purpose.

If this is happening a lot then the table is too tight and you should welcome it. Just adjust normally. If they start loosening up a bit they might start to play optimally against you.

Re: You guys fold faster than a........
There really is no point to trying to loosen up an online table. With zillions of great tables available, why bother trying to make a bad table good?
Sure, you can play wild for a few hands, but many will not notice or care. Sorry to give you the answer you do not want, but changing tables really is your best play in this situation. |
