It's interesting that you would say this, because they are what you are applying if you always check the flop HU on an uncoordinated board regardless of what you're holding.

I always bet the nuts when I'm last to act on the river.

I'm going to have to rethink this. I may be giving up too much by simply applying a blanket rule to such a general situation.

How silly.
There are very few situations in poker which are as obvious as the one you described.

The topic at hand is certainly not one of them.
