What do you mean by "yokel?" I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here and reading your comment with sarcasm.

I've noticed a trend on this site that if you aren't part of the "original gang" or part of the "in crowd" your posts are dismissed. I personally don't like the vibe I am sensing here. I may be thin skinned on this (it is stretched pretty tight over this fat body), but if this continues it will just get worse and worse, with new posters being driven away by those with nifty titles and colored screen names.

I agree with you, people like him think they are that good, it's funny since most of what they suggest is strictly garbage....

Guess this all depends on how much you care about what people on the internet think about you.

The OP made an idiotic post. It is not only a member's right, but it is a member's duty to make him feel the wrath of the forum and he will (hopefully) never post something so idiotic again.

Flaming the crap out of someone like the OP won't drive away posters that have something of value to add to the forum. It will drive away the donks that have no posting ettiqute and want to ask stupid questions. This is a good thing.

One's posts are dismissed simply by post count. They dismissed by stupidity.

Its a bit of a mixer, really. One part sarcasm ("yokel"), One part reality (i.e., your thoughtful response to a wretched post - not good), and a pinch of animosity (in that I wasted my time reading all the way down to your response rather than clicking the back button after reading the op).
