Deposit Bonus at Royal Vegas - How long will this take??
I was recently offered a 100% match for my first deposit at Royal Vegas, up to $100. Here are the T&Cs:
-------------------------------- 50%, 100% or 200% Bonus Offers This promotion is by exclusive invitation only, and is valid only to the individual addressed in the communication. The Bonus will be calculated on your FIRST NETeller or FirePay purchases. You will receive the bonus amount within 24 hours of the purchase being made and wagered at least once. Bonus amount applies to a maximum of $100 in purchases. To cash-in the bonus the following wagering obligations apply: wager the purchase at least five (5) times wager the bonus at least five (5) times Please note that if your first ever purchase is made via NETeller or Firepay, you will need to wager your purchase once to qualify for the NETeller or FirePay bonus, and once for the Signup Match Bonus. This promotion is only valid for the promotional time frame as specified in the communication. ----------------------------------- So, my question is: how long would it take to wager my $200 deposit 5 times? With raked hands or player points, it's relatively easy to calculate how long it will take to get your bonus. With this structure, I'm not sure how to figure it out. Is this a good deal or not worth the effort? |

Also,
What would keep me and a buddy from going in at off-peak hours, playing NLHE, and betting the $100 back and forth 5 times to each other to earn the bonus? |

Usually there's a vague term about undermining or abusing the intention of the deposit bonus.

Bummer. Do you think this would be easily trackable?

If you do this at ACR, they'll take all your money, and distribute it as crappy ass promo bucks. |

Re: Deposit Bonus at Royal Vegas - How long will this take??
Bonuses such as this are usually aimed at getting you to play in the casino. Be sure this applies to poker before making the deposit, if your only intent is to play poker for the bonus. Royal Vegas usually has an initial purchase promo such as this open to everyone (except people in Denmark). Your best bet is to get a blackjack basic strategy chart and play like a machine using that chart. (Don't deviate except when dealer has an A or 10: then, don't double down.) If you want to keep your volatility down, play for $2 a hand. If you want to get it over with quickly, play for $5 a hand. Take you several hours to get your bonus--long term gain, ceteris parabis, should be $80 - $95. Be sure to read terms and conditions as more and more blackjack is excluded from fulfilling the wagering requirements.

Re: Deposit Bonus at Royal Vegas - How long will this take??
I'm actually a much better blackjack player than I am a poker player, and hadn't thought about the possibility of winning the bonus by playing BJ. Thanks for the thoughts!!
Does everyone else read this to be a casino-oriented requirement as well? |

Re: Deposit Bonus at Royal Vegas - How long will this take??
Yeah this sounds to me like their casino bonus, it is a pretty good bonus. I have made money there playing blackjack. Actually they have a special feature called expert mode, where you can get the computer to play perfect basic strategy for you, or change it if you like. you can set it up to play 500 $2 hands, leave it come back when it is finished.
I wouldn't cash out straight away, leave your money there for a couple of weeks, go back play a few hands then cash out slowly, first your deposit then your bonus a week later. You need to give the casino what they want, (people playing) don't be greedy and this can be a handy little money maker, there are lots of casinos out there offering bonuses. good luck |
