Re: Hellmuth cracks me up
I enjoyed that one. Much better than the cardplayer audio stuff. Probably because Phil g. interviews the other players and knows them so its more like there hanging out drinking a beer type of interview(telling bad beat stories) after a tourney with a buddy. As opposed to carplayers where they act more like there on tv.

Jesus, like you wouldn't be furious after getting Aces cracked at the final table of a major tournament?

Re: Hellmuth cracks me up
Smoothcall's got a point. Granted he was pissed because he took a bad beat, but I couldn't even listen to the end of that, Phil Gordon was coming off like such a whiny and insecure little girl. And it was unbelievable how much he was sucking up to Phil Hellmuth. I mean, come on! Who sucks up to PHIL HELLMUTH?!?!

Re: Hellmuth cracks me up
He said there were 500-600 people in the stands? I left to go home for the weekend before that final table, and that would be 500-600 more people than have been in the stands for the previous final tables.
Maybe it's because it's the weekend. We'll see what it's like when I get back to Vegas Sunday night. For what it's worth, after watching Gordon in person, he seems like a very nice guy - graciously signed an autograph for a fan while sitting at the table. |
