Have you read Harrington's book? Just master that in 3 weeks and you should be fine. You'll easily make the final table

GL gaming!

"In saying that though, I realize I will have little or no edge over anyone else playing in the WSOP"

Ten years ago you'd have been roadkill. Five years ago you'd have been avegage. Today, with the entire fish world winning entries you're above average. Now if you can get a horseshoe surgically implanted up your ass....

Number one - How costly of procedure is this?

and Number two - How difficult will it be getting through the airport metal detectors when I go to Vegas.

Thanks, Fish. I didn't realize someone telling me that I am above average would make me feel better, (but it does)

Keep up the good work O Doyle. Didn't you have like 55 days to complete this? If that's the case it looks like you're ahead of schedule and should cruise on into the finish

Care to share the amount of rake contributed by yourself so far?

Yea, I have to June 30th, but I wanted to be on a pace that would almost assure me of making it, trying to take into consideraton any medical or family emergency that might occur.

As far as the rake goes, I don't have a clue. I have mostly played $1/$2 and $ 25 NL, with some limits all the way up to $5/$10 thrown in.

Mr. True chimed in about this last week and for obvious reasons cares not to divulge that figure. I do believe that their rake collected is much less than if these hands were had been played on Party.

Just remember, by playing 430 hands/hr for so long, you will have a MONSTER time to think advantage over everyone.

I am thinking by some token it might help me really focus on the other players at the table and help pick up any possible "tells" due to all the extra time I will have between hands. Also how I view the time speed of each hand vs. my opponents perception of how fast things are happening could be an advantage for me.

Since you will only be able to play one hand at a time I suggest (although you may already have thought of this) try to be very patient. 30 hands an hour can screw with you just as 400+ can. Wait for the good cards and dont get impatient.

Good Luck
Greg
