Default Re: Where to stay in Las Vegas

The daily room rate varies from week to week, but generally you'll pay $15 to $30 per night at the Four Queens Downtown. You simply call Four Queens for their latest rate! It's real close to Binion's Horseshoe (about 100 feet, if memory serves), which is where the World Series of Poker will end this year (in the past, that's where the whole thing was played!). Downtown has the wonderful free show about every hour, which is nice. Lots of neat things at Downtown, with casinos much closer together. Main Street Station is one of the best and cheapest buffets in Las Vegas, and about 4 blocks from Four Queens.

I strongly recommend it, because of the savings. The Strip is near, since the busline terminates about 3 blocks from the Four Queens, and if you take the bus on Main Street (same distance) you save on the trip to the Strip ($1.10 vs $2.00 last time I was there 2 years ago).
