Always end up being the deck with a missing card after a big tournament? It's never the crappy Bikes, or the somewhat decent Bees, it is always the KEMs. And *always* the KEMs that are out of production.
What's the deal? Does KEM have a card self distruct built in after 100 hands or so? |

If you're that concerned, go with the paper cards for the tourney (take a piece of the kitty to cover costs), chuck 'em after the event is over, and save the rare KEMs for more controlled, smaller home games. If you prefer to go with the KEMs at tourneys, have someone count down the cards periodically. (If you do find a hold-out artist in the game, be sure to post details of his involuntary maxillofacial workover. )
Alternately, use the less expensive but still durable Copags. |

When I was a kid, I perfected the art of "shaving" cakes and desserts so I could get a snack without my mom knowing. Of course, with 3 of us, when desserts are suddenly shrinking around a pan, it's not so subtle.. |
