I am new to Poker Tracker and was wondering if purchasing "The Guide" is worth it. If you downloaded the e-book, did you find it useful?
Thanks. - Jim |

I found the e-book useful. It doesn't contain too much information that can't be found elsewhere if you look around the PokerTracker forums, but it does compile all of these tips in one place.
The e-book discusses finding leaks, identifying fish, exporting notes and organizing your poker data. It isn't necessary, but if you use PokerTracker and play limit poker, it's a worthwhile investment. |

It's worth it, especially if you are unfamiliar with all the bells and whistles.

You will probably be disappointed if you mainly play no limit, since the guide is aimed at limit ring game play only.

I don't post much, but I'm always willing to put in a good word for the Guide. The auto-rating rules along are worth $20. If you play limit poker at all, it's absolutely worth it. The section on creating different databases for different games (limit, no-limit, high stakes, small stakes, etc.) I also found especially useful.
If you have any questions, the two guys who wrote it (they have blogs) are quick to respond to emails, too. |

$20 to put all this great info in one place seems well worth it to me. My time is worth more than that.
