I think calling this down heads-up against a big LAG is fine.

I don't fold good hands heads-up against postflop LAGs very often.

So he might play bottom pair or a club draw this way? You need to see a showdown with this player, but at the same time I don't think you really want to get into a pissing match with your second pair hand. I think you played it fine.

The river card sucks, but there's no way I'm folding.

Anyone like raising the turn and taking a free showdown if given the oppertunity?

Would you fold this against a passive blind defending opponent?

the term "spew" refers to overplaying a hand. how do you think you possibly overplayed your hand?

probably not but depends how passive and how certain you are that he'd play passively in this spot

I think big lags like 3 betting too much HU, with god knows what. So no, I call it down.

nh. I think you have to see a showdown HU against this guy, I don't see where the spew is IMO

Not really; hero's either ahead or way behind here, and opponent's not going to play it quietly if he's ahead. Besides, there are more scary river cards than there are safe ones, and our SuperLAG's likely to bet no matter what comes.

I play this one exactly the same way:

Raise preflop on strength.
Bet the flop, but slow down when raised.
Call the turn blank.
Crying call on the river.
