Anyone notice? Stars added 3-table NLHE SnGs
I like to play SnG's on Poker Stars and noticed that they added 3-table SnG's to their offering as of May 4th. Use to be there were only 1 table and 2 table but now up to 27 can play a SnG (NLHE). Anyone else notice this addition?
Maybe I've not seen it before but the 27 seat tables caught my eye. Looks like this format will take about 2-hours to play and there are usually 10 or more of them going on at any given time. |

it kinda sucks that they only offer $5+.50. i'd like to see some higher stakes ones.

A third table bumps up the playing time required and may not be as popular. They DO pay the top 5 places though so the extra place to get into the money (2-table paid top 4) may be an incentive for some. |

Re: Anyone notice? Stars added 3-table NLHE SnGs
I noticed that; in the S&G lobby, the tab labelled "2-table" was changed to "Multi-Table" with the client software update a few days ago.
However, the 2-table S&Gs on PokerStars hardly ever run at limits above $50. I wish they would promote their two-table S&Gs at the $100 and $200 level. I'm not sure what would be the best way of promoting them, perhaps reducing the rake a little. |
