In the Rolling Stone article posted earlier, it mentions Phil dropping 1 million at the craps table one time. This is probably why this post appeared anyway! It also mentions that Doyle and many other high profile pro friends of his have tried to warn him not to play -EV games.

[/ QUOTE ] I only know what I get from heresay, but I also have a pet theory that Ivey has a serious gambling problem. Remember when he won Foxwoods, and said he would just be breaking even after what he lost in the side prop bets? Remember the stories about how much he was betting and losing during a golf game around the 2004 World Series? It seems to me that the story usually ends badly for guys with this much gamble in them. I could be wrong. Maybe the image isn't reality. |
