Have you actually brewed at home and calculated the expense? When I look at something like beermachine.com it seems as if minimum cost is 25 cents a can. Is there some trick that you know? Thx. |

Dunno about the states, but back in Scotland I regularly brewed beer in a big plastic tub with a 30W lightbulb underneath it. Just buy a tin of concentrate, bag of sugar and sachet of yeast. The rest is just water. Like Jimbo said - pennies - for a 750ml soda bottle full... [img]/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif[/img]
If you're clinical and careful, the beer can be excellent - tho' often yeasty (but I don't mind that like some folk do). There's no need to buy fancy equipment if that's what you're looking at. G Beer ~ The Reason I Get Up Each Afternoon! |
