The NFLs immaculate reception from the Superbowl years ago is offensive to many people too, yet it is still widespread and replayed many times each year.

His nickname is Jesus because he looks like what people think jesus looked like, big deal.

Exactly. And if there is a God, a Jesus, an All-Mighty, then I am quite sure he would have a sense of humor about Chris Ferguson's nickname. I mean, if God is all-poweful, then logic dictates he would have the best sense of humor, too, no?

As a Steeler fan, I must take offense to this.

It wasn't in the Superbowl.

Too bad religion is a joke and a crutch for the weak who are afraid that there may not be an afterlife.

Or atheism is a crutch for people who are afraid that there is an afterlife.

See how that works both ways?

Can't we all just get along people?

I can't believe that there are people on both sides that are so insecure in their own belief system that they have to ridicule the other side of the issue.

Just my .02

Sides are created in order to play them off against each other. Divide and rule.

Official science and religion, created by the same force in order to mislead and imprison minds.

Excellent observation. I was hinting at this dialectical process in my earlier post in this thread.
