Bah, I think everyone who plays in that game should be able to play it for profit. From the CO there's a wide range of hands that people are raising with, and many of those hands are in big trouble against ATs. Worst case, you have a bit broadway suited hand with the button in a 5-7 way pot for 2 bets. Hardly a bad situation.

thats the thing...i agree with everything you said...but i particularly dont want the blinds in and i'd rather take justhe CO heads up with position...so i reraise...

It's an easy call and you're not gambling all that much... the range of raising hands the CO can have is huge, you're gonna have at least a 5 way pot with 2 big suited cards, pretty simple to me.

In order of preference:

1. Call
2. Reraise
3. Fold

...with the gap being largest between 2 and 3.
