A, 2, 3, 4, 5 would be a straight but not the best hand. Does anyone else agree?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure. On a board of KQ862, for example, the wheel is no good.

Uh, on a board like that the wheel doesn't exist.

The best five card poker hand is a royal flush, which is an ace high strait flush. For example;

T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

In Texas Hold em the best possible hand depends on the community cards. For example if the flop is,

K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], then the best possible hand is three kings.

However a 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the turn changes the best possible hand to an ace high [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flush.

Then on the river if a 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is dealt the best possible hand changes to 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I hope this helps puppet......and for god sakes I hope I did not misspell anything.

Does anyone want to challenge this man to a spelling contest? Next time I am in Vegas I will go heads up with anyone on these boards.

Well, naturally A 2 3 4 5 is a straight but not necessarily the best hand in a WPT Tournament. In a WSOP tournament, however, it very well may be. It all depends on your position relative to the the person standing behind the guy on the button. And whether or not he's holding a Red Bull.

Do you see why?
