...if you play NL pretty exclusively. Do you NL players still clear it through NL or maybe play micro-limits?
Seems micro-lim would clear it faster with less risk. Thanks in advance. KC |

Why would you not keep playing the game you normally play? I play exclusively NL and clear the bonuses doing the same.

In the beginning I used to go down in limits when clearing a bonus, but now I play my usual game and consider it a rake rebate. Earlier it felt like a good idea to go down to drop the risk, but now it just seems silly. To me at least, no offense.

Micro-limit is slower with less reward because you are losing your normal winrate, sounds stupid that you would drop down...

[/ QUOTE ] If you are a parttime player buried under bonuses, it can often be more profitable drop down a level, increase your number of tables, and play on autopilot than to grind out at your current limit and number of tables. |

Since the Stars ring games aren't too profitable, I clear my bonus there by playing $15+1 Turbo SNGs whenever I'm bored but not in the mood to play "real" poker. The $1 entry fee for a $15 tourney is a great deal, and the players are terrible. The ROI for even an average SNG player is huge. The only drawback is that it could take quite a while to clear the bonus... but then again, I'm in no particular hurry.

True, given that you increase the number of tables. If you are going to play the same amount of tables there doesn't seem to be much reason to move down limits.
