Hand 1 is played fine until the river. Just call the river. The player in between will usually fold, so just calling and letting him overcall wins you the same amount of bets as if you raise and the bettor calls. And you don't let yourself get 3-bet if you are behind to a FH.

In hand 2 the CO has postflop aggression of 1, so when a player like that 3-bets you you can't do anymore raising unless you hit a set on the river.
