Congrats Barry!
I'd like to inform everyone that our very own Barry finished 7th in the $500 Limit Hold'em event at Foxwoods Saturday night, finishing at the final table in an event with 500 participants!
I hope he jumps in and gives an accurate account of his final hand. I don't remember all the details, but it ended up being a bad beat. His opponent hit running 8's for a full house against his nut straight. Barry did manage to come home with a $9000 payday for his efforts. Congrats Barry and good luck to all the 2+2ers at Foxwoods during the WPF. Joe |

Re: Congrats Barry!
Were you there? I must've missed you. I was worn out after a day of Act IIs and went home when there were about 35 left left and Barry had a bigger than average stack.
Good to hear about his win. |

Re: Congrats Barry!
I was there last night until about 1:00am. I was playing in the 4-8 (God I love that game!).
We really must have just missed eachother because I walked out of the ballroom when they got down to 40 players. Joe |

Re: Congrats Barry!
Thank you.
I found the pic on a Hartford Whalers website and thought I should use it. The people in Hartford have confirmed that he is Satan! Joe |

Re: Congrats Barry!
Congards to Barry for good job and outstanding showing.
I can say with confidence that the man is a class act and I am sure he bowed out gracefully. See you guys down there soon. |

Re: Congrats Barry!
When they got down to 40 I was in an Act II that was 4-handed.

Re: Congrats Barry!
They were playing those Act II's in the same ballroom I think.
I must have walked right by you. Sorry, maybe next time we'll have a chance to get together. Joe |
